The things he finds to do!

Sarah Evans sings it best in her song where she says, "There he is my little man, I know he'll get in trouble every now and then. But he will always be my baby!!!!' Kegan had to ice his foot last week because he sprain it at practice and we found a 5 gallon bucket that we would put ice and water in!!! The best part about it was I would use the water when he was finished with it to water the flowers and it did great! One huge pour and they were drenched and I did not have to stand there and wait for the cute sprinkles of water to flow from the watering can! So this week I just decided to fill the bucket up in the bathtub and do the same thing- water the flower! I turned on the water and left the bathroom for a moment! When I came back I found Ezekiel inside the bucket playing in the water! It made me laugh and smile! How funny! I love the things he thinks up to do!!!

The Fish wants to play!

Ezekiel came up to me and said "Mama, the fish is playing!!!" I followed him to the fish bowl and I am not sure if you call what I found playing! No, he was not dead but I am sure he was frightened! Just look and see for yourself!! Ezekiel was very proud that he was 'helping' the fish out!

I don't like Ingles!

I needed to go to the store today to get some groceries! I was ready to get in the car and told Ezekiel to come on because we need to go to the store! ( I did not mention the store we were going!) He said, " I do not like that Ingles store!!!!!" I just smiled because that is where we were going! He ended up enjoying our visit and having fun playing "I Spy" with food and letters!!!

First ugly word!!!

After a busy day of school Ezekiel and I came home! He began to play and I began to clean up around the house! I asked Ezekiel to help me do something: takr a toy to the playroom. He replied," That's STUPID!!!" Oh no! I thought how ugle was that! I immediately told him that he could not say ugly words and I did not want to hear him say 'stupid'. Now in the back of my mind I was thinking- Is stupid really that bad! But I knew I did not want my little one saying ugly things! Ezekiel continued to say "Stupid" about 5 times more that night! Each time I would remind him not to say ugle things and he would have to sit in time out and he got a spanking! Later on that night he said, "Stu" and put his hand over his mouth and stopped himself! Oh I know that he is going to say worse things but I hated to hear an ugly word come out of a precious mouth!

Enjoying being together!

Today we had to go to the doctor this morning for Ezekiel's 2 week post surgery visit. The doctor said everything had healed completely and looked great!!!! Yeah! We came home and played all afternoon! Ezekiel decided he needed to read 1 book but needed to take all books off of the shelf in order to read the one book!!!! He also played with his new letter ink stamps! He stamped his letters for a little while! He did a great job! The best part about it was when he was finished he took it to the refrigerator and wanted to hang it on display! And it looks great there!!! We have enjoyed each others company today!!!

Go Panthers!

(Picture was taken and uploaded on www.goupstate.com)

We went to the Woodfuff Jamboree tonight to see our beloved Chapman Panthers play! When we pulled up in the stadium Ezekiel was so excited! He said, " Wow! We made it!" When we walked into the stadium the players were getting warmed up on the practice field and Ezekiel was all smiles seeing the mighty blue! The Panthers played a great half and ended up coming out on top 20 to 19 against Laurens (who is a 4 A team) During the game Ezekiel said, "Mama, I can play" He wanted so bad to go onto the field! When it was over Kegan came and got him and took him onto the field while they shook hands with the other team! We loved cheering on the Panthers and are glad they did so well!

Feeling Better!

Today is day 3 after surgery and we are feeling some better but still not 100%! Ezekiel is enjoying watching tv and playing trains! Today we baked muffins for breakfast in the morning! He is beginning to feel better so we are having to stay close by to make sure he stays quiet! He ate chicken nuggets for lunch- I cut them up very small and he did fine with them! He slept well last night but is still taking his meds every 4 hours to make sure there is no pain! I am so pleased and thankful for how his recovery is going!

Panther Pride!!!

Today was the first practice of this season! We are proud to be a Panther and support Kegan!

GO PANTHERS!

The hardest thing to do!

Thusday was Ezekiel's tonsil surgery! I will never forget his little innocent face in the holding room with his hospital gown on and saying, "It's all done. I ready!" I had to say (with a smile while my heart was crying inside) "Not yet!" Thanks to a friend from High school who took him away did a great job with him! Ezekiel held on to his Thomas the tank engine and was telling her about Thomas! I could not even give him away to her! I has to give him to Kegan while I sobbed in his back and he was strong enough to give him away! Oh my! They took my baby and I was so upset! Thankfully he did great during the surgery! (Better than what I did) He is doing great! It is day three and he is eating and drinking and in no pain! (of course we are giving him his medicine!) We are having to keep him still and that is the hard part! Today we cut paper, put together a puzzle, played with play doh!!! I am so thankful he is doing so well!

How Cute!!!!
