Playing with Daddy in the pool!

We enjoyed a hot afternoon in our new blue pool (Thanks Jimmy and Lisa!!!!) Ezekiel was so excited to be outside and to be in water! Kegan joined him about 30 minutes after he was in there! They went under water, watered the grass and were spies on butterflies (you have to be very quiet when you are a spy)!!!!! They enjoyed their time!

Frogs need their mamas too!!

We enjoyed an afternoon walk followed by playing in the backyard in the sprinkler while Daddy watered the flowers and plants! We were chasing one another and racing through the sprinkler. We found a few frogs. For some reason we have tons of tiny frogs in our backyard! Ezekiel wanted to catch a frog and put it into his bug catcher. So we did! Well, I caught the frog with the net and then Daddy would pick it up and place it into the catcher while Ezekiel would go and get grass for the frog! True team work!!!! Ezekiel soon wanted to let the frogs go! He said, "It needs its mama! and maybe Daddy!!!!!" So that was our mission to capture frogs and then go and release them near the trees so that they can sleep with their mama and daddy! To me that was so sweet! He wanted the frog to be with his mama!!!!!

We just mailed a letter ( Blues Clues' tune)

I was mailing a card to a friend today and had my card box out! Ezekiel got up on the stool with me at the island and picked out a card. I asked him who he wanted to mail his card to and he said, "Nana!!!!" So, we opened the inside up and I asked him what he wanted to say! He say, "Hello, Me Ezekiel!" and that is what I wrote!!! He also drew her a picture to go along with his words!!! He then wanted another card!!! So, we made a card for Will our friend and we mailed them!! I thought it was so sweet and kind that he wanted to send someone a special message!!!

Sunday Afternoon!

This Sunday we did not take a nap but we filled the afternoon with many fun things to do around the house. We played with trains! We read books! (Ezekiel would read with me! I would read a sentence and then he would repeat part of the sentence!!!) We played ball! and we painted in our Thomas book! Ezekiel loves to paint in his book! One it is Thomas and two it is messy!! Who does not loves that combination!!! We enjoyed our afternoon!

Nana and Pops!!!!

Nana and Pops went to supper and decided to drop by for a few minutes to see us!! Yay!! Ezekiel was so excited! He was showing them everything in the house!! Picture, his VBS crafts, his craft he made on Mother's Day!!!!! They enjoyed reading books to him and wrestling! It is always great when they come by!

Friend over to play!

Our best buddy, Will came over this morning to play for a little while! Actually when we went outside this morning Ezekiel invited himself to their house to play outside and then Will invited himself to play at our house! (Which I love because they are so comfortable at each others home) Will came down and told his mom that he wanted to watch Thomas the train!!! and we did!! The boys layed on the bed while they enjoyed an episode of Thomas!! and then the fun began - they chased one another and played very well together!! We love our friend Will!!!! We enjoy playing with him so much!!!

This is my Moma!!!

Ezekiel and I went to Ingles today to get a few groceries! When we were at the check out line the cashier spoke to Ezekiel and said, 'Hello'! Ezekiel replied, "I Ezekiel, this is my Moma"!!! It made me so proud! I have been introduced before as wife, daughter, sister, daughter-n-law, preacher's kid, granddaughter, neice, teacher but today when I was introduced as Moma- it was the best introduction I have been ever given!! My name may never be written in magazines or published in a book and I may never be world famous but to a 3 year old I am his world- and that is all that I can ask for!! I am Ezekiel's Moma!!!!!!!

My Ezekiel!!!!

Being off in the summer with Ezekiel is so priceless to me!! He is so precious and I love the little man he is!! Some of my favorite things he says/does lately are!!!

1) I want to go eat at Chick- a- lay (Chick- fil-a)

2) I can't find _____ anywhere but it has to be somewhere!!!

3) Huummmm!!! I need a kiss!! ( as he is tapping his finger on his chin!)))

4) Moma! Moma! MOMA! MOMA! MOMA!!! MOMAAAAA!!!!!

5) Let's go for a ride in Daddy's truck!!

6) 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10....is our number line!!!

I love his little laugh!! Man, he can light up the room with his smile and dancing feet! He lights up my world!! Ezekiel, you are fearfully and so wonderfully made!!!

A Great thursday!!! Picnic, Swimming, and Marme and Papa came to Visit!

What a fun Thursday!! We had our first family pcinic at Miliken!! We ate turkey sandwiches and chips!!!

We went swimming at the Hardee's house!

Papa and Marmee came and brought supper and played!!!

Slip and Slide!!!!

Tonight we went to slip and slide at Nana's house with Hayes!! The boys had so much fun! They slide on their own most of the time but the rest they enjoy sliding on Aunt Heather's back as she slides down the slip and slide!

We went to Chapman's football stadium tonight to exercise and enjoy the boys playing on the field!!!

Charleston Weekend!!!

We enjoyed a much need get-a-way to Charleston this weekend!!! We left on Friday morning and our first stop was the Aquarium!! Ezekiel was thrilled to see all of the fish!! We got settled into our room and rested a little while and then went shopping in Mt. Pleasant and had supper at the Charleston Crab House!! At the end of our meal the waiter asked if we needed anything and Ezekiel said, "I have a booger in my nose." To which I replied, "Mama, will take care of that. Thank you but we are okay!!!" On Saturday we went to a water park and met up with the Seay family!! We love them and it is great to spend time with them! I am not sure how much quality time there was with Ezekiel going from the lazy river to the pool over and over!! But we enjoyed several hours of water and sun!! We then road to Sullivan's Island to go to the beach! This is a special place for Kegan and me and we love to go every chance we get! We hung out on the beach for a little while and then went back to out room to shower, change, and rest!! Later that night we ate at Hymans!!!!! ON Sunday we got our things together and met Uncle Matt for lunch and then headed home! We enjoyed ourselves so much!! We can't wait to go back!!

Happy Father's Day!

What should a Father be? When I think about my dad I know that I have been raised by a great father. I also prayed many nights that God would send me a great husband who would love me but also be a great dad! I can truly say that God did!!! There are many reasons I love Kegan but the main reason is because he is such a wonderful father to our son Ezekiel!

Potty Update!

We are still trying! Some success and some accidents!! We are not liking the idea of having to think about Pee peeing in the potty!

Our First Vacation Bible School

We had Vacation Bible School this week at First North and this was the first year that Ezekiel has been able to attend! It has thrilled my heart to carry him each morning and have him hear about Jesus! Everyday when I pick him up he is so excited to tell me about all the things he did! Monday when I picked him up he said, "Mama, I am excited! It was awesome!!!" I peeked in on him several times this week and have seen him dancing and laughing with the other children. Today was priceless for me!! One of our songs we have sang in bible study was "Jumbo, means hello to Jesus when we pray!" and it goes along with our Lord's prayer study we have been doing! I asked Ezekiel, "Did you learn you can talk to Jesus." and he said, "Jumbo, It mean hello!" Oh this tickled my heart!!!! He was listening even though he may have been wanting to run around the room! I think we all can learn from the kid song! JUMBO JESUS!!!

It's Potty Time!!

Tonight was the offical kick off for pottying!!!!! We begin last night a little and wore big boy underwear just to see how they felt! Today when we got home from church, we put on our underwear and off we went. We sat on the potty every 15-20 minutes! And yes! you guessed it- not one time did we pee pee in the potty!!!! We had three accidents in our big boy pants!!! We are still learning though!! And we found many interesting things to do while waiting on the pee pee to come in the potty: taking pictures of ourselves, singing, reading books, and wearing our football helmet!!!!! Wish us good luck!

Riverbanks Zoo!

We went to Riverbanks Zoo today!!!This was the farm part of the zoo!! Ezekiel loved the fake cow better than the live ones! Which I do not blame him! They did not smell as bad!

We bought lettuce to feed the giraffe with! Kegan had it out in his hand and the giraffe got the whole hand full at one time!!!
